From the Vault: Discontinued

Based on Maro’s twitter (http://markrosewater.tumblr.com/post/170895704583/is-from-the-vault-discontinued), the Vault series is axed and being replaced with the “Signature Spellbook” series. With all the complaints surrounding the foiling process of the vault series, I suppose this may be a good thing. However, I can only wonder what may be offered with the upcoming “Signature Spellbook: Jace” product which will be released June 15th according to Wizards. (https://magic.wizards.com/en/products/Signature-Spellbook-Jace).

One can speculate whether this is simply just a continuation of the same product but with a “flashier” name and slight modifications such as amount of cards and price. It is safe to presume that the cards will all be foil as well based on the description of the product to be “dazzling”. And with only nine cards in this product instead of fifteen from the Vault serie, it would be fantastic to see new card art associated with the namesake character such as Jace’s Erasure and Oath of Jace rather than strictly making them into foil cards. What are you all hoping to see in these new “Signature Spellbook” sets?
